College Football Week 8 Recap
This week both Penn State and Notre Dame each won big games against their rivals. Penn State beat Michigan and Notre Dame beat USC. I watched the Notre Dame game on my TV and the Penn State game on my computer. The Fighting Irish crushed the USC Trojans 49-14. Brandon Wimbush played well and did not feel the pressure as I thought he would. However, the best performance came from the Irish running back Josh Adams. He put 191 yards with 3 touchdowns. The offensive line played phenomenal. The defense stopped Sam Darnold which was also a huge surprise to many Notre Dame fans. The Fighting Irish proved in this game to be a Playoff contender.
Penn State's defense was the story in their 42-13 victory against the Wolverines. The Nittany Lions defense completely halted Michigan's offense. Trace McSorley did not have a great game but Saquon had yet another 100 yard game. I see Penn State being an easy Playoff team if they can win this next game. So here are my updated rankings:
