College Football Week 11 NESCAC Special Edition

In honor of the 132nd year of the "Biggest Little Game in America," I will be giving an early post about the game between the Williams Ephs and the Amherst Mammoths.  Amherst is 7-1 and Williams is 5-3.  Amherst is tied for first place in the NESCAC with Trinity.  The Mammoths are coming off a huge victory against the Trinity Bantams.  The quarterback for the Mammoths, Ollie Eberth, was the NESCAC Player of the Week two weeks after a 31-26 win over Tufts.  Eberth has had 1348 passing yards and eight touchdowns, a pretty successful season for Amherst's quarterback.  Amherst also has the best rushing defense in the NESCAC, only allowing 91.2 rushing yards per game.  The Williams Ephs are coming off of a 35-0 loss to Wesleyan.  The Ephs' defense is ranked third in scoring defense allowing 17.2 points per game, while the Amherst Mammoths are fourth in scoring defense allowing 17.8 points per game.  Ephs' defensive end Jameson DeMarco is sixth in the NESCAC in sacks with 4.5 sacks.  Linebacker TJ Rothmann is third in the NESCAC in tackles with 79 tackles.  The Ephs' defense is strong and will have a shot to stop the Mammoths' offense.  I predict that the Amherst Mammoths will beat the Williams Ephs 38-24.
